Sorry, I meant File Explorer, its the same as My Computer. while your PC is running, unplug the webcam and plug it into another USB slot, it should re-detect it and install it, then see if it works.

You might need to limit posts to ~4000 words for APK though As for the web-logging craze for personal daily life story, I don't have such lofty delusions of grandeur to believe that for example a 33yo mother of two from Belarus actually gives a flying duck about what I had for dinner and how I feel about international politics. I think the entire concept is to allow people to feel some kind of validation and self-importance by having something there in the electronic wilderness in the vain hope that people comment on it. A better solution is to get a good circle of friends and take a case of wine to a restaurant, get pissed, tell lies and wait till the management kicks you out at 2am - at least you have real people with real faces, voices and names. Not a reply from blondiegirl534 who has a pic of Lisa Simpson in her profile saying "I like to agree with you about GM foods and how the CIA is using them to control the minds of beef cattle". Hmm, I'm done now. WOW, you should write a book:) and while we're at it, do it online:) Blogging

Its just strange that the hard drive stopped working and when I remove the power to the fans everything goes back to normal.

Have you ever done something really stupid like forget to plug the CPU's fan in?
Wicked101 replied to Phalanx-Imawano's topic in Hardware
Off PC's for a sec, but still on electronics, it was my strong point at school. My dad had an old Kenwood amp with 16 speaker channels, back then it was already 25 years old. This was back in S.A. and there we only use 220, so no confusion:) I wish I could say I forgot to set it back to 220, hehe, but, anyway, I did not use this amp for a while and cause we used to have a lot of parties the amp moved around a lot with us and when I wanted to plug it in (back at home) I just felt around for the power cable, found it and noticed that the plug was removed, so I got another one and connected it, once I turned on the switch the amp went BOOM (BIG WHITE FLASH) followed by lots and lots of smoke and a very bad burnt smell. Later that day, when I recovered from the shock and changed my shorts I tried to find the problem, only to find that I grabbed the wrong cable, it was one of the speaker cables that was still connected to one of the channels, OUCH. That amp never worked again. -
Phalanx-Imawano, I found this to be very interesting, after reading your post I took my 3 xtra fans I had lying around and installed it into my box, I've got a Chieftec Midi Mesh case, it has the easy clips for the hard drives in the front side of the box but with the hard drive going in from the side, 90° to the norm. I have a S-ATA 160 Gig and the 3 fans I installed fit on the side panel right next to the hard drive. Now, here comes the interesting part, in the couple of months that I've had this PC I've never had any problems with my PC at all, but within the first 10 minutes of runing the new fans my PC just restarted, twice, then the third time it said I must install a proper boot device (and my hard drive made funny sounds, like a faulty one) and it would not boot up no matter what I did, as soon as I just unplugged the power to the fans my PC was back to normal and has been running 100% for the past 6 hours. I honestly do not understand why the fans would infuence the hard drive, HUH?

Wicked101 replied to Phalanx-Imawano's topic in Hardware
Talking about capacitors, hehe, at this one place I worked I replaced the ram to see if the ram was the problem, it was a P2 or something small like that. I powered up the PC and looked over the OPEN box to see if there is a ram count on the monitor and back, the capacitors goes pop, very load I might add and a bloody shoulder later I only realized what went on. It was so quick, all I remember is bang and a sore shoulder then I noticed tha blood, OUCH. -
