It wasn't about the driver afterall... There is a jumper on the mb and it wasn't set correctly

System manager? Did you mean device manager or i don't know what you're talking about... EDIT: I somehow believe that the driver is f***d up, because i get some crashes with a blue screen and it mentions sth about drivers being bad or sth like that...

Hi! Just got a new computer and whaddaya know, no sound. The guy who built it said that all was OK at his place... Reinstalled the drivers, but nothing. Speakers are working, tested them with my mp3 player. The soundcard is integrated into the mb (Asus A8N-SLI, Soundcard is Realtek AC'97) Any suggestions?

When I install the game it says an error on the 1st CD. Error 1305.Error reading from file C:\Program Files\Midway Games\Area 51\LEVELS\MP_00\FLOW\RESOURCE.000. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. The file is there and I searched Google for that error and found something on the Microsoft page, but it didn't help, what should I do??

I have purchased the new episode of Leisure Suit Larry and i can't get it to work. When I have to copy the crack from the CD and copy it to the game folder it says: "Cannot copy Larry: Access is denied. The source file may be in use." I checked the task manager and there was no trace of larry.exe running. I cant even copy the crack to the folder VU Games.(C:Program files\VU Games\Leisure Suit Larry - Magna Cum Laude)

still nothing. but will win98se help? i mean doing a dual boot with win2k and 98se it has to run under win98se. and is it possible that something goes wrong and the data on hard drive is lost when doing a dual boot system?

how can i install c&c 1 on win 2k.. i went to PlanetC&C looking for help and i found something. it said that i have to change the compability mode Make sure you are logged on to Windows 2000 as a user with Administrative priviliges (or as the Administrator account itself). If yours is the only account on the system then it's probably an administrator account. Administrators accounts can make any changes in the control pannel, so if you can do that then you're an administrator. Open the start menu and click on "Run..." Type: regsvr32 %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll Hit Run (or press enter) i did it and there were no compability options (there was no compability tab at all) in properties can someone help me..?
