The XP pro is not compatible with your computer set up. The best way to fix this issue, that I see, is to change your set up or change the operating system.
-
Updates are required to have a superior software product. Companies should then go from there resolving any new issues. All software must get better and better to compete in today's world.
-
It looks like you purchased the best software. Just keep plugging away and seek customer support at Sony.

What is your guess as to the reason for the system being stuck?

Was there a website that you found that told you to use the lower case p? What is the address, for other Chaos Gate issues?

Have you thought about compatability issues with the sound card you are using?

"fullscreen unavailable in this mode" looks like your video card. Buy a top of the line one, on ebay.

save0 is the 1st save. The first saved game is right after the starte of the games.

Add the maximum amount of memory your computer allows. This should work.

I sounds like RA2 is really not compatable with your software. The best software to use is Windows XP with ICS.
-
I think it's a memory issue. Try typing LOADFIX a few times, and then launch the game. Each time LOADFIX is run this way, it "eats up" a little bit of memory which sometimes makes a difference to the game.

Has Starcraft ever worked properly, on your current computer set-up?

Good Day. I like this forum because it is easy to navigate.

The antivirus client you are using doesn't look at the folder with "assets on http://www.cesa.org.uk" because items in that folder are not considered a risk to your system. I have Windows XP, and the best thing to do to get rid of the folder is to restore your computer to a date before the folder was created. All files created after the date will NOT be deleted. I've done it a few times. It really is not worth it to restore, so I'd just keep the folder in the computer. It is not a risk.

explorer.exe-application error
matthewt replied to BSBMI_ITSUPP's topic in Everything New Technology
Restore your computer to a date earlier than the day when the explorer.exe error started showing. Your files will be safe and free from deletion. I've done this about 5 or 6 times now. I saved all important files that were created after the restore date, just in case - but this saving as backup procedure is not necessary. -
To eliminate the dialog box at log in, your XP software needs to be reinstalled to go through the validation process. Save all those important files that may be deleted from the reinstallation and do it.
