can we play dvds on normal cd-rom drives using some special software. i am having this query because i just tried a movie disc with dvd version written on it and it worked perfectly in my cd-rom drive.

hi again,The problem here is that i just bought a copy of close combat 4 "Battle of the bulge" and it does not work on Windows XP.Can any one of you have a reasonable explanation or a solution for this,please post it.I would be extremely grateful.

hi all i AM IN A TERRIBLE FIX,i bought this new athlon xp computer with windows xp installed but now i cannot install windows me or any previous operationg systems. in Ms dos mode no cd drive of mine is detected by the computer. please help as i want to install Windows me on my computer from its installation disc.
