Bored, so feel free to answr this poll Do you have The Sims 2? And did it work for you?

Anyone have any ideas

I installed The Sims 2, and when I tried to run it, I got an error message, apprently DirectX 9.0c needs a the correct graphics compatible adapter. I installed every directX thing known to man, and tried to install it on another PC, with no luck, apprently the adapter had an internal problem with that one. What excatly is a graphics adapter, and can i download one or buy one? And if so, where? any help would be great, thanks! If you need any more info on my computer, let me know.
