I tried to reinstall in the same location (inside the same folder) but it says to choose another location. I've installed in c and then uninstalled (the new one) and no problem, but the old one is still impossible to uninstall! Thanks for your help!

You mean to reinstall over the old one? I tried to uninstall with 3dsmaxsetup.msi file but it says that it's the wrong one. Maybe because the installed it's a tryout version. I'll try to reinstall, thanx for your answer (and sorry for my english!!)! Sole

I can't uninstall 3dstudiomax 4.0! When I try to uninstall system (windows 2000) lokks for 3dsmaxsetup.msi but then says "is not a valid installation package for the product 3ds max 4. Try to find 3dsmaxsetup.msi in a folder from which you can install 3ds max 4". Could be because I installed it in D instead of C? Thanx for help! Sole
