shrubbery

I've just tried to install mandrake 10 as a dual boot with XP pro. When I insert CD1 the Mandrake install page comes up. I click to install and the screen just goes dead, with nothing happening. I know that there's nothing wrong with the discs because they have been used successfully before. Suggestions?
