Hello, I'm using Mepis and my screen savers don't work. i.e. GLmatrix. i haven't tried to run any games but I want me screen savers to work. when I click test screen saver my screen just freezes until I click. in the little sample box it is just black..

MEPIS for everything...

When i click on a link to something to download (for example .tar, .iso, .rpm, .bin) i cant download it i get this message: /tmp/30j0mzb3.gz counld not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator. (options) Ok (options) http://freshmeat.net/redir/nvu/49644/url_tgz/nvu-0.50-pc-linux-gnu.tar.gz Under the error is the files i was downloading. this happens with all the stuff i try to download by just clicking on it. but i can copy the link location and use kget. help plz!

I orderd the default 10 cds about 3 1/2 weeks ago. I still dont have them.......................... I downloaded the iso though and i think ubuntu is kinda plain and boring for me....

Hello, i know there have been alot of postest about warcraft 3, but i cant really seem to get a no cd hack/crack whatever. Could someone please help me with that. How to install with links to all the stuff you need (probably including winex, no cd hack, etc..) might be nice. I'm pretty sure i got the install down even though i cant find a no cd hack to run it..... P.S. yawc3 = yetanotherwarcraft3 ... yes i know im dumb

Hello, I was just wondering if there are any web design tools like dreamweaver out there for linux (in .RPM, .BIN, SH format please. Tar is hard :|). I know HTML quite well but I dont know java script,xhtml,dhtml or anything. So, using a tool like thats makes it easy for me. Just HTML web sites look kinda lame... Also a gnutella cleint would be cool (graphical). I have gtk-gnutella. It's kinda hard to get the filters working. I want one where I can find just mp3 or jusr mpeg or something like that. If you can do that in gtk-gnutella then please inform me on how! Anyways any help would be nice, thank you!

I would just like to ask how linux is going to deal with this problem.... lets say people do start to switch to linux. Spyware will be even worse!! they can put it in all this open souce stuff. plus if you where a spammer/hacker/virus programmer, why would you stop because linux is now the main operating system? lets say they are making millions. if you where making millions would you stop because they went to linux? no, i dont think so. and it would probably hit linux harder and give it a bad name. it came on gradualy with M$ so they have a chance to at least KINDA (...) fix it. They could download a distro that automatically does this. did you guys ever think about it like that? I AM A LINUX FAN! im not starting a war just bringing up a good point. i think...

i am using Yoper (yos) 2.1.0-4.With the following. KDE 3.3, kernel 2.6.8.?, AND I'm not sure on the rest... maybe u can check out yoper.com. my girlfriend is wanting me to go to bed. but thats all i know, ANY help would be nice. it is usb and i use kern 2.6.8.? when i click the button down it goes to some random page ive viseted befor..... Also how do you use scripts??? as in .sh files??
