I dont think your short of IRQ addresses, then you wouldnt be able to find the discs. And you dont have enough devices. I have 8 HDD's and it works fine

you have installed the right drivers to your SATA controller? Try to update it. Have the discs worked properly before?

are you using disc 4 or 1?

I dont mean to open up old threads, but hdd space is just a wee bit part of the system requirement, first you must find out what kind of system specs your pc have. How good CPU, how much RAM and what kind of graphic card you got is the most important factor to any game.

What kind of mail server is she using? exchange? Is it a local windows or and I** client?

Why update that pc? buy a new chassis and put all the new components in that one. And i also dont understand what you want with it? Do you need it for certains programs? Graphic editing etc? Gaming? How fast is you current computer? is it a P 900? Then for gods sake buy a new cpu (like the core 2 duo *recommended*) new ram to it (PC5400 or PC6400), mainboard(http://www2.abit.com.tw/page/no/motherboard/motherboard_detail.php?pMODEL_NAME=AB9&fMTYPE=LGA775), graphic card for what purpose the pc is, a better one for gaming etc. Add some 450w PSU with it and a chassis of your own choosing. Voila, a brand new computer

Well, you have to consider that most users of the world wide web do not have a slight clue what internet security really is and what the first line of defence are. brain - pc - av - firewall -> internet. never put your entire trust to software security. Neither hardware when im thinking about it.

You could start by checking if you do infact have a dx9 compatible graphics card...

Do you hear any sound from the integrated speaker? a long continius beep? If not any of the fans goes online, i would guess it was the PSU, since fans should work if the motherboard failed. Are you sure the power connection is plugged in the motherboard? Have you tried to contact dell support?

I was pretty sure the FCC was a universal commision for communication devices etc? are you SURE FCC is a brand? Never heard about it. Anyways, you can rule out any "turbo" button which increases hardware output.

Hi Well, to tell my story short, i bought windows xp pro for some years ago, but i still had problems with all the ++++ stuff coming with my install. I just found out that i could download a stripped version and use my cd key on that one, which basically makes it my license. I know reverse engineering isnt really allowed, but why would anyone blame me? Arent you tired of fighting to get rid of the damn MSN messenger on the XP installs. So now im trying the stripped edition out and its working like a dream.. except my keyboard language layout. There arent any norwegian (bokmal) to choose from. I still got my norwegian XP disc, so is there a method of copy some language files over (either from the disc or a fresh instalation)? Help me ntcompatible gang, your my only hope of a non annoying xp install!

Hi I own a computer company and now im going to extend my stock with HT Pc's. What are the good and bads about Windows Media Center (XP). Ive never really thought about selling them before now and I got a call from Microsoft the other day and got an offer if i bought 100 OEM licenses for it. Anyone have any experience about problems when building these systems? Ive buildt several mini-ITX and micro ATX and its easy to build. Just wanna know if there are anything interesting i should know about the media center windows ed.. Thanks Jan

Hi Thanks, Didnt learn anything about media centers when i took my MCSE 8) Seems easy enough to set up, so im going to order a few parts to see how it actually works in the real life, just in case some confused costumer calls in and wonders how it works. Another dumb thing ive noticed is that the Windows Media Center doesnt support Norwegian yet.. Ah, gonna loose lots of costumers to that

Got any graphical issues when playing other games? If not then its probably the drivers or the game that dont support the graphic card. Have you tried up[censored] your graphic drivers? Maybe you can try to set your graphics card hardware acceleration down a notch and see if it has any effects.

Hi Yeah. my ASUS board also had that problem, but flashin the BIOS fixed it. Just go to your motherboard manufacturers website and download a new version for your BIOS, the upgrade it (flash it). this solves the problem for the most part.
