getting SATA drive to work with SOLTEK AMD mobo??

you have to use the sata driver disk (a floppy "usually") that comes with the mobo or drive. since you have to install the SATA raid drivers before windows can detect such disks in a preinstalled phaze. at once when you begin the xp installation look in the lower part of your screen. there you will see : " press F8 to install third party scsi/sata raid drivers" or something like that. just follow the installation from there.

    Microsoft SideWinder Joystick Throttle Problems!

hi When you plug a Microsoft SideWinder Standard joystick into the gameport on your Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, the Game Controllers tool in Control Panel does not detect the joystick correctly when you click Microsoft SideWinder (Auto Detect) to add a game controller. The SideWinder is listed as a Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro with a status of Not Connected. SOLUTION : To resolve this issue, use the Game Controllers tool to manually add a 2-axis, 4-button joystick. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click Game Controllers. 3. Under Controller, click Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro, and then click Remove. 4. Click Add. 5. Click 2-axis, 4-button joystick, and then click OK. 6. Click OK to close the Game Controllers tool. Best regards Eirik S

    what graphic adapter..

hi im buying a new system now, and i want to buy the best possible ATi X700 card.. pro, XT or any other version. i just want to know if anyone of you have a x700 and want to share your experience with me. ofcourse im buying an PCIe card. you see, there are so many manufacturers and the most difference with the cards are mostly bundled software, how much sound it makes, looks, power demand and so on. since they are all based on the same core, the clockspeeds rarely differs. but what differs is amount of ram.. 256 and 128.. ofcourse.. running hl2 on hight resolutions will demand alot of vid ram.. ive been thinking about one of these cards : PowerColor Radeon X700PRO 256MB PCI-E PCI Express, GDDR3, Tv-Out/DVI, Retail Sapphire Radeon X700PRO 128MB DDR3 PCI-E PCI Express,Tv-Out, DVI-I, Lite-Retail and this card.. even though i have never heard about that brand before.. : http://tinyurl.com/4xm4x you are ofcourse welcome to come with other suggestions as long as its an ATi x700 card. Best regards ES

    what graphic adapter..

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! that card is around 110$ less than a card like that here.. shiat... how the hell? im moving to the states..
  24. janfebmar

    what graphic adapter..

hi. thanks for the respons wow.. thats strange.. you can buy an graphics adapter from THE manufacturer itself in the us of a? ATi.. strange.. can only buy from third parties here.. such as asus, MsI, sapphire and those.. and that card.. 8 pipelines is fair enough for the x700. still only 50% but its 50% of the price too heh. but sapphire have above 20mhz faster ramdac speed. hmm.. strange. tell me how it went.. best regards ES
