Sorry that I cannot help you, Robb, but I can assure you that I have the EXACT same problem here (message "make sure that media is ready, writable and formated" ). Configuration is : Win XP SP2 - Norton Ghost v9 - Trying do backup C: onto a DVD-R or DVD-RW with Pioneer DVR105 DVD drive Anyone encountered the same ?
