Thanks! someone had set 'turn off monitor' option to 5 minutes! as for the hanging part , after changing the settings my monitor has 'nt switched off for a while!so i think that prob. my not arise for a long time! anyway once agin thanks for that help!

i have gta3 . i installed it successfully.when i run it some video like intro appears then the computer HAngs! i tried on my dads pc it worked perfectly fine! i have- p4,256 ram,2 ghz . my dad's pc has lower config. than mine but it still works fine! HOW??Why?? Help!!! P.S:can someone tell me the age limit for this game!some told me its actually 18+ although the box says 15+.

Ok! my problem seems strage to me. everything was OK. i dunno when but this problem has appeared. whenever i leave my computer alone for a few minutes i.e without working on it, instead of a screensaver coming up the monitor switches of .(not that the monitor button switches of!)when i press any key or move the mouse the monitor does not switch on . it just gets HUNG! i'll have to soft boot it!help!someone Help me please its just So IRRITATING! HELp!

Ok! I have windows 98 os and i want to install winxp. i have an original cd too. the problem is when i inserT it and then click on 'check compatiblility' button an error message-E:\1386\WIN9XUPG\W95UPG.DLL is missing and cannot upadate. But then the microsoft upadate adivisor pops up . there i select the radio button -'yes update filles(recommended)'. it reads 'downloading from net' and then automatically closes! thats it! the error msg pops up agin when the'check comatibility' is selected.the same one! cant i ever install xp?? and what is the difference 'tween installing xp fresh and 'up[censored]' it?how do i resolve this prob. b]HELP!HELP!PLEASE HELP[[/b]

i just follwed what u said but..after services there is no cdrom instead there is 'EVENTLOG' and yes by the way i have 2 cd-rom drives both have the same auto-run problem. plz continue helping...

well.the error message displayed is clear enough,i think u'r graphic card doe't support directx 9 or may be u just have to update u'r driver. wel..first tell me what grpahic card do u have?

right click on u'r desktop -then select settings tab-then advance buton-select adapter -now read thhe graphic card u have and send it away as quickly as u can!!

mammoth i'll as u this question but please dont misunderstand me- are u using an original disk?well..if yes see whether u are inserting the proper disk(try inserting the next(2) disk) or else just clen it up and try it out.

no 101 it did not open when in unplugged the IDE cable, and yes what about the autorun? please help me dude
