    Help!

Hi I'm fairly new to Linux and I'm trying to use SuSE Linux Live DVD 9.2 I downloaded it off there site and burnt it to a DVD+R so now I tried to put it in my CD-ROM drive but it doesn't accept DVD's made by my burner because they're + instead of - so then I just used my DVD Drive and whenever I put the DVD into the drive a screen would pop up showing what is on the disk (a .iso file of the SUSE Linux Live DVD) and when I try to click it, it says it cant run it because it's in a .iso format. So I tried looking in the instructions in the www.suse.com web site and it says to reboot your computer (which I'm guessing just means restart it) so I did and it just rebooted like normal and didnt even read my DVD, so I then tried extracting the file using WinISO but it didnt work. So I was wondering if anyone could help me by telling me how to get this program started wheather its on the DVD or just on the hard drive. Remember im new to Linux so please be verrrry detailed. Thanks I really appreciate any help. Also, Just so u know I run windows XP home edition and I use a HP computer with a DVD+RW/CD-RW CD writer combo and a CD-ROM drive. Thanks again for any help
