I have a Promise Fast-Track100 TX2 PCI card with 2 maxtor 40 gig drives they are striped (im a gamer) but ever since i got this computer it pauses for about 6sec give or take every little while. this happens most when games/video/audio are running but it may be that this is the only time i notice it all my drivers are up to date and when i play DVD video or audio of cds this does not happen... Any Advise??
