I might as well add something on here. I have a 70 beastlord with some other chars, he is well equipped and hasnt been played in about 6 months. anyone want it? i will give it away to someone that will play it, or take a few bucks or a trade or something. i also have a 66 Halfling Ranger with only a few pieces of armor, i am not fully sure i know the password, but i can probably find it in my stack of papers somewhere. anyone who wants them can contact me here or at forty6_two@hotmail.com

Not sure, but since tschrock only has 8 posts I don't think he is too much of a spamming threat. But, I usually just read the latest threads every day and may have missed some things in the past. And to tschrock, you could think about not posting an 'advertisement' within the post, but simply post a link to the fix and have a sentence and link to and about your business in your signature.

I am wondering if there is something I can change so Firefox stops popping up a little box that says "Document Contains No Data" or something like that when I load web pages occasionally. After I click "ok" it proceeds to load everything on the page normally, save an occasional side-bar or banner advertisement. Any ideas?

Each 'console' has its own unique pros and cons, but I personally like FPS on PC much better due to the mouse control. But PS2 has some of the best RPG type games and I like sports games on PS2 better than PC or Xbox. Xbox has great racing games and a few good RPG games, and of course Halo2 which you can't help but like to play if you system link a few boxes together and have a party. Overall, PC is my favorite gaming system but you can have a great time with any of the other ones, if you play the right games on each.

Hey i'm not sure if the one you need is here, but you take a look: Microsoft Drivers Try to see if the one you have is there, and download the driver.
-
I have never seen a problem with it, I currently installed a ATI Radeon 9600pro on an NVidia mobo with no hitches. just make sure you get the drivers for the card and delete any onboard if an SLI board even comes with any onboard drivers.

Hello, I am curious what is involved in installing a second HDD to backup my mp3 files on? I wouldn't be running an OS on it or needing to access any files or anything. I would just like to have a second HDD with my 18+GB of mp3s on it, in case of a burnout. i have a fair amount of computer knowledge but i haven't dealt much with RAID or anything to do with hard drives except installing a new one in a built PC. how would i go about doing so and during the process are any of my files at risk of being lost or damaged? System specs: Celeron 2.8gHz 1024MB Crucial RAM(PC2700) WD 160GB 7200 RPM HDD Intel 845GV Mobo

i haven't purchased a HDD yet, but was looking at picking up a cheap 40 gig or something. i will get an IDE HDD then if it's easier, since i have a cable with 2 plugs on it already. thanks for the reply! i can probably figure most of it out by myself now, thanks again

Heres a PC i just put together for a friend here at college. He asked what i could build him for under 250 bucks and i laughed. but was surprised when i finished it, so here are some rough specs. Intel 845GV micro ATX mobo Intel Celeron 2.8ghz 160GB Western Digitial 7200rpm HDD GeForce MX4000 128mb PCI Video Card 1024MB Ultra memory Lite-On 52x CD-RW Crappy old cdrom drive i had layin around Ultra 300watt PSU Onboard audio built in a mid-tower acrylic case i built a few years ago. lots of blue and red cold cathodes and led fans inside (he wanted it to look cooler than it is fast 8)) not bad for under 270 bucks. at least i was proud.

make sure you go into add/remove programs and remove any drivers that say "Intel Extreme Graphics Controller" or something of that sort.

so after all of that, it runs very well for about 20 minutes and then goes way down hill again. do you think it could be a cooling issue? it is an xps laptop with a very hot running processor (Pentium 4 3.4 ghz)

I am wondering if there is anyway to format my HD with saving alot of the data I have on it, like pictures, music, drivers, windows settings and stuff like that. Is there a way to just totally delete anything i dont want to keep, and gaining some of my PC's old 'out of the box' speed back?

thanks guys, running very well now. i used four or five spyware removal tools in safe mode and ran a virus scan and registry compacter and cleaner. seems to have fixed whatever was wrong! thanks alot guys!

Hey all! I'm in the midst of slowly building a new PC and I would just like to ask a few opinions of which OS I should go with. I have a $90 Microsoft Lawsuit Settlement check that I will be buying XP Home or XP Pro with. I would like to get a few responses as to the advantages that XP Pro has, making it worth the extra dollars or not? Please share what OS you think is the best choice and for what reasons! Thanks!

I have a quick question about replacing some cables inside my case. I am looking at getting a new floppy disk cable, a new dual cable that connects both my 5 1/2" drives, and a new single cable to connect my HDD. I have found some cool cheap ones and am going to post a link and see if what I've found would work and if not, what ones do I need to look for? HDD http://www.case-mod.com/store/ata133-10in-sensitive-silver-braided-single-device-p-496.html Floppy http://www.case-mod.com/store/10in-floppy-sensitive-silver-braided-p-542.html Dual 5 1/2" Drives http://www.case-mod.com/store/ata133-18in-sensitive-silver-p-508.html Let me know if these would work and if not, any suggestions?

I am just wondering if this motherboard is a decent one. I have never dealt with the brand that it is, but it is PCI-Express and comes with an AMD Athlon 64 3700+ for 250 bucks, so its a very good deal. Anyone know if there are any flaws or drawbacks to this particular motherboard? (Price almost seems too good to be true) Link to mobo EDIT: Found a drawback, mobo has a 800mhz FSB while the processor runs up to 1600mhz

anyone know? i would like to order them soon if they are compatible with my needs.

I have a solution... Use Firefox! I personally love firefox compared to IE but I'm sorry i cant help your problem!

I have a couple of options for you that should help solve your problem. 1) Head to www.4allmemory.com and run the simple (and safe) scan which will determine exactly what speeds of ram will be compatible with your system. (Do not purchase from this site, for it is fairly high priced generally. Shopping at tigerdirect.com or newegg.com has always worked well for me.) 2) Turn off your PC. Remove the power cord from the back and open your case. Simply look at your stick of ram and there should be a sticker on the stick itself showing the speed (PC3200/ DDR 333) or whatever it is. It will also show the stock CAS Latency and other info that is not important to finding a compatible stick. Good luck! and I hope it helps. PS) I noticed today that www.tigerdirect.com has sticks of Ultra 512MB PC3200 RAM on sale today for 30 bucks after a rebate. Very good deal on what has proven to me to be a great stick of ram if you aren't overclocking.

Hello, I have changed a few options in my BIOS that i read about in an article on tomshardware.com and now i have a problem. I am fairly competent in my knowledge about BIOS and changing settings, but this one gets me. I changed options and rebooted to test stability. But when i reboot my monitor shows nothing. I didn't enable my onboard VGA or anything like that, but I may have accidently disabled a PCI slot or something. So to get to my point. Is there any way I can restore BIOS settings to an earlier time or some way to get into my BIOS and rechange the options I messed with? Remember: i cant see anything on my monitor, even when i enter the BIOS by pressing delete at startup. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Would like to resolve this ASAP, I can't stand trying to browse the net on my parents jurassic era pc
