HI I am having a problem with DK2. I have windows XP profesional edition and I cannot even install the game. The only way I can play it is by running it directly off of the cd. Whenever I try to install the game from any directory I get the message "16 bit sub system: unsuitable to run ms-dos and/or windows, must be shut down now" and there is no way around it from what I've tried. I'd really like some help. I also have the first game, and I have the same problem with it. Except I can't play it off the cd. My friend says that the games won't run at all because they are trying to use a 16 bit system and with XP there is no 16 bit system, the lowest is 32. I don't know how that could be, the booklet with the game specifically says that the game is 32 bit and that it SHOULD NOT be run with 16 bit progreams. Unless I am reading it wrong. Anyhow, I need help. If anyone could be of assistance. Thank you.
