Its happened a few times before, moreso now than previously though. At any random point in a game, 5 minutes, 2 hours, etc, a multicolored checkerboard pattern will cover the entire screen and my computer will freeze up making me have to restart. Now this can get quite annoying especially during mmorpgs, anyways, here are my specs.
Athlon MMX 1.1Ghz
Geforce 4, 4200 Ti 128
512mb DDR
running on windows xp
im pretty sure i have all my drivers updated, so im not quite sure what the problem could be. i searched through google and i see a few more have had this problem as well. would appreciate any help
edit: forgot to mention that it has happened on more than one game
the most recent game it is happening on is World of Warcraft
