I've installed cd 1 and cd 2 of Mandrake 10.1 on to my 3480CT.
Is their a video driver for linux available, for mandrake 10.1, on my toshiba portege 3480CT laptop.
Because even by me changing it in the task bar.it still doesn't make the screen full size viewing.
which is exactly what happends whenever i just installed windoze.oviously until i installed the video driver for the Savage 8mb video card.
i was wondering could i use the one i normally use or i gather it wouldn't be compatibile with linux?
or does anyone know where i could download a linux version of the driver.or something?
Also i was wanting to know cheat codes as in like windoze ones.
such as alt crtl delete, and cut ctrl c and paste ctrl v etc....
Mandrake 10.1 is the only distro that has worked with the 3480CT.
I know a lot of other people have had probs in Knoppix and other distros not booting and dropping the shell.
im glad Mandrake 10.1 installed.
Is their any way for me to install cd 3 without having to delete it all and start over?
It just looks a little bare appz/programs wise.
Cheers
