Press D to delete an existing partition. If you press D to delete an existing partition, you must then press L (or press ENTER, and then press L if it is the System partition) to confirm that you want to delete that partition. I take from winipcfg that you are using Windows 9x? You can always use command line version of it: winipcfg /release and winipcfg /renew Consider upgrading Windows, if possible. 9x, 2000 (and soon XP with or without SP1) are not anymore supported by MS.

RA 1 is so old, that it does not support 800x600 or higher resolutions.

Try booting into safe mode and uninstall the drivers of the old card.

Is this legit game? Pirated versions have problems with AI.

If I type vbscript.dll (Note: There are no spaces typed.) It'll show up as: vb_script_.dll, where _ is space. Is this a bug or behaviour by design?

If Cormac's suggestion does not work, try these: 1)-- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/910341/en-us, "Section B: Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP", Step 2. 2)-- Do you have "Client of Microsoft Networks" installed? Control Panel->Network Connections (classic) / Network and Internet Connections (nonclassic). Right Local Area Network and select Properties. One site mentioned this. 3)-- Reinstall the activex component. 1. Browse to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files. Locate WUWebControl Class, rightclick it and select Delete. Answer yes. 2. Start->Run: Type cmd Now type to prompt: net stop wuauserv Leave the prompt screen open. 3. Browse to C:\WINDOWS. Locate "SoftwareDistribution" folder and delete it. 4. Back on the prompt screen. Type: net start wuauserv Then: exit 5. Start IE and Windows Update, it should ask to install it (during scan).
