if your stick is a gameport version (not usb) you cant program it under xp

first you need to do the following: slap you head real hard and say DOH... where its says assign to shift it means shift key on the keyboard not gear shift that is why you see no down shift option because a keyboard doesnt have a downshift key set up you gear up + gear down buttons in the game
