Tie Fighter Collectors - Old Game, but I want to play it!!!!

Hey I just found this site though a win2000 IT book. I am in the process of testing my older games. Tie fighter collectors cd-com is my first test. I have only one problem it always wants to install directX 5.2 I get sound and my joystick is detected and is ok. I have direct 9.0 any ideas? gamerman
