Actually, I have same problem as you, fjrg76. I've posted also (Post #154950) Someone dowloaded it and burned the CD and DVD for me. This is qustion for Dapper Dan. You said "Sounds like you may have burned the .iso file to the CD rather than burning the iso image." Maybe my friend burned it as a file. How do you burn them as iso image?
  4. Hi, I'm having problem installing fedora 3. I had someone to download the following iso images from http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/3/x86_64/iso/ site and burn them to CDs and DVD for me. FC3-x86_64-DVD.iso (md5sum: 2786a751df919f340d967a4833b63b16) FC3-x86_64-disc1.iso (md5sum: b61b0eb7e0171837aeeff4f0054a4d79) FC3-x86_64-disc2.iso (md5sum: 99dc12c7e8a93844a48a5675a9c07ec9) FC3-x86_64-disc3.iso (md5sum: 399b7ffd721ebb4244a02c34cdbb1b82) FC3-x86_64-disc4.iso (md5sum: f58b1de3b880df55dbbd37d143419226) Anyway, instruction to start the installation program, it said to boot from the DVD, the first CD, or the boot CD made from the boot.iso image.when But, when I put the first CD or DVD, it's telling me that they are not bootable. I have verified the md5sum on CDs or DVD. I don't know what to do next. Can someone help me. Thanks.
