One week and still no spam.

I also use windowblinds and objectdock it is a great site.
-
I used logonstudio and bootskin from http://www.wincustomize.com

Will let you know if I ever receive any spam. Also found some support to show that this is legit: http://forums.cex.co.uk/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=002093

Well im sure betfair, ntl and the other sponsors wouldn't get involved if it was a scam. What would a photo prove? ntcompaitble asks "please support our sponsors" are you saying that this site supports pyramid scemes? At the end of the day all I have layed out is £10 into a betfair account that I can get back at any time. Will let you know when (or if) i get my Alienware.

I have no problem if the modorators feel it should be moved. As for spam/scam: I haven't received any spam and the BBC have investigated the same site when they did it with ipods. They found nothing suspicious. I wouldn't get involved if I was suspicious. BTW several of the NT Compatible banner adds are for exactly the same thing (Ipods though).

I see your point but I have seen many people selling in this forum. I joined this site to help people with there computer and I have found a way of helping people get there hands on a kickass pc for free. Shal we just leve it up to the modorators?

So you don't want one? If we can post gmail requests why not this?

Just a word of warning if you can't work out how to open it...... maybe you shouldn't.

When I did mine I had a lot more control over what I chose to change and it doesn't even cost anything (takes a while though). http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1590 -
Try downloading a new copy of windows media player from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...;displaylang=en When it was uninstalled it may have removed some codecs that are nessesary. Even if this doesn't work wmp might tell you why it cant play the DVD.

Found it here http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t999349635 Don't know if it works havn't tryed it yet. -
Do you have any third party firewalls running? If so uninstall (or dissable) them. SP2 comes with a firewall (which seems to conflict with any other).

I am sure that the "live" indecates surround capability. I have the same card and mine definatly has 5.1. I am running the microsoft drivers but havnt tested surround since before upgrading to xp. Surround is definatly an option in "sound and audio device properties" had a quick look for drivers. found this (havnt tested them yet). http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1505

Computer doesn't recognise it can burn CDs all of a sudden.
mctonale replied to swirl086's topic in Hardware
XP will automaticly recognise and install the drivers when you restart. Do you get a Baloon pop up from the sys-tray (bottom right corner)"devices disabled"? If so you may be having the same problem I had with sp2. http://www.ntcompatible.com/can_i_use_ad-ware_t30916.html -
If you have a spare pair of (aux in) phono connectors on the back of the amp. you just need a 3.5mm - 2 phono. Thats what i did anyway. (ebay)

Right click 'my computer', select properties Under the 'hardware' tab select device manager. Have you recently updated to sp2? "I've always been able to burn CDs as it is installed into the CD drive." Are you trying to burn or rip? -
Sometimes it is the most obvious things that are missed. Sometimes I froget that I have put my modem on standby and then wonder why I can't connect. lol

May sound obvious but it could be something as simple as a loose conection. have you checked your cables?
