Most of those type of DOS games can be run in a program called DOSBOX that emulates an x86. It is easy to use and I've been able to run numerous of my old dos game in this emulator. Check it out at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/ Actually, I have a Thomas the Tank Engine game and tried it out in the emulator and it worked. I don't know if it is the same game because are a few Thomas games out there.

I am just a poor and lowly college student and can only afford the dialup service that my university provides for about $8/month. However, I'm moving soon, and when I move I'm going to get Yahoo DSL through when I sign up for my new phone service through SBC. Does anyone go through Yahoo DSL and can they vouch for that service?

Check out my webpage at http://www.isu.edu/~sweneric. You might find something there that works. Also, check out the forums at http://www.magicball.net, it's a sight dedicated to the LBA games. Also, you can search for LBA2 support on the Activision.com website, there are some help tips there. Actually, I have a direct link to the support page for LBA2 on my website listed above. Look into running the game in Dosbox.

You can check out the dos emulator that is the best one out there, DOSBOX. This emulate an x86 computer and has been used to get both LBA games working. You can do a search under games to find info on both LBA games and how to get them working in the emulator at this url http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1.

Also, there is another way to play LBA2: Twinsen's Odyssey. It's called DOSBOX. It emulates an x86 computer. Check out the webpage here at http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1. I checked and found out that both LBA1 and LBA2 are compatible with the version 0.61 of Dosbox.
