Hi Alex most automotive acrylics usually don't affect plastics, however I would probably talk to either a fibreglass spe[censored]t or chemist regards the pitfalls for plastics used in computer cases. other alternatives would be gel-coating the plastic or having it "chrome-look" finished. (yeah they can actually make plastic look like chrome) only be judicious too much looks tacky. Good Luck
