I've installed The Sims 2 on my pc. At first it plays ok, then after a couple hours playing (sometimes less) I get the following message sayins "This application has crashed. This application will now terminate." My apecs are fine, I've been advised to download and run an update for my graphics card which I did. Anyone who can help me I would be eternally grateful. Thanks

I've installed The Sims 2 on my pc. It starts to work fine but then after a couple hours playing (sometimes not even that long) I get the following message. "This application has crashed. This application will now terminate" My specs seem to be fine. I only got this pc last year. Can anyone help me at all?? Here's what I've been advised to do & done. Close all background tasks before playing. (Done) Download graphic card driver update and run it. (Done)
