Cannot connect via http, only HTTPS

NEVER MIND. It seems my ISP blocks port 80 as well as a few choice others on residential accounts. Ugh. --Dave
  2. I am running Win2k3 SBS. I have a web site configured, but cannot access it from the outside world when I use http://www.blahblah.com. I can access it when I use httpS://www.blahblah.com. I have port 80 forward through the firewall along with 443 for SSL. I cannot seem to find the option bit that requires SSL connection. Any help is appreciated. --Dave
  3. Weird - I can receive internal and external mail, can send internal mail but not internet mail. Also, the Event Viewer had POP3 errors, but no SMTP errors. Does this make ANY sense. I always thought POP3 was incoming and SMTP was outgoing. Here is the text from an Event Error: ============ An error occurred during a POP3 transaction to server <rocksolidcomp.com [Dave]>. The error is 10061 (No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. ). For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp. ============ Clicking the link took me to a "no additional info" page.
  4. Excerpt from SMTP Log: (IP address masked to protect the innocent) Software: Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0 #Version: 1.0 #Date: 2005-03-30 22:09:17 #Fields: time c-ip cs-method cs-uri-stem sc-status 22:09:17 xxx.xxx.61.11 EHLO - 250 22:09:17 xxx.xxx.61.11 MAIL - 250 22:09:17 xxx.xxx.61.11 RCPT - 250 22:09:17 xxx.xxx.61.11 xexch50 - 504 22:09:17 xxx.xxx.61.11 BDAT - 250 22:09:17 xxx.xxx.61.11 QUIT - 240 22:09:27 xxx.xxx.38.245 HELO - 250 22:09:27 xxx.xxx.38.245 MAIL - 250 22:09:27 xxx.xxx.38.245 RCPT - 250 22:09:27 xxx.xxx.38.245 DATA - 250 22:09:27 xxx.xxx.38.245 QUIT - 240 This is worse than Latin for me. Does anything jump out here?
  5. I can ping and resolve host names from my server using DNS on the server. I have it setup to resolve host names using DNS, not by smarthost. How do I enable logging for the SMTP service? I checked Windows\System32\LogFiles and don't have anything resembling SMTPlog
  6. I have set up Windows 2003 SBS running Exchange 2003. I have two nics and a router. Router ip=192.168.1.1, nic1 ip=192.168.1.100, nic2(lan) ip = 192.168.10.1. I can send and receive email within the local domain. I can recieve email from the internet. I cannot send email out to the internet. I am missing something in the configuration of the SMTP server. Not sure what other info to provide. Please Help!!??
