In response to your questions: 1. Hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del any number of times does nothing. 2. Safe mode freezes up on the exact same screen. 3. I have tried waiting up to one hour to no success as well as the last known configuration and it still froze on the same screen. Thanks for the help so far!

My laptop is stuck on the log-in screen of Windows XP. It goes through all of its normal bootup process like normal, then when it arrives at the blue screen to log-in it freezes with the Windows XP logo in the middle stuck in the middle and no place to log-in. My mouse still moves but there is nothing to click on. Any help would be much appreciated!
