Hi I have some problems with my computer whenever i try to logoff my system it displays an error message which does not allow my system to shut down.I have to manually shut my computer down and the Error Code is 0xc0000142 .I have zone alarm firewall which prevents me to access the internet,i disabled it and tried to get connected but no go. Then i tried ipconfig but it does not display any ip instead comes back to c:\ quickly.I use road runner and piggy bank on AOL 9.0 Security edition .Also i get an eror message 73-CHOM which i came to know is an aol error .I did a clean boot still no go(also disabled the firewall).I am unable to connect to internet and i get the error message while i shut the computer down.I would appreciate if any one would help me out. Hi Did try it in safe mode but no go the error message is (RunDll has caused an error !).Is there any work around with the registry .I would be glad if i could get a solution.

Hi Wilhelmus The message is Just rundll has caused an error ! a dialog box thats it did try it fom safe mode still no go have been facing this problem a lot any workaround with the registry files .Would be glad if i get a solution. Thanking You Sandeep

When i try to install or unistall norton internet security on windows 98 it gives me s a rundll error which makes my system freeze.Kindly do help me with a solution. Thx Sandeep
