throw your old pavillion crt to the nearest HP oblivion store... they deserve it. hehhehehe.. putting speakers beside the monitor. what a smart thing to do. it's like putting the speakers' magnet directly on your screen. did you notice any discoloration on the monitor?? magnets caused it.. like rainbows. mostly green or red.. HP artist Engineering department!!!!! hehehehhee.. get a new crt monitor or you can buy a new pair of 800x800 reading glasses later. try to canvass, ask around, call computer shops, distributors. it pays. the best buy in our country (Philippines) is AOC monitors.. im not sure what's hot and cheaper in your country. gud luckssssss

i have used Ghost countless times and it never let me down.. the best way to get the result you want is booting from a ghost bootdisk. run ghost in dos mode, never in windows!!! im not sure about the 500m allocated space you wanted. if your source disk has it(the 500mb allocation) then i believe ghost will copy it too. if you repartition your target disk first using 100%, then reformatting it ghost will copy the exact image of the source disk. all the patition. everything. Norton Ghost is a time/life saving tool in this internet cafe.. haven't tried it in NTFS before!!!. Use the dos mode please. if you manage to fnd another solution, please let me know.. gud lucks...

i know it doesnt belong here... please forgive me.. my problem is everytime i use my and went to chat with my sister on a channel i always got disconected. its realy a big prob. a friend of mine said iwas beeing booted, i don't know what does he mean about booters. if that's the problem can anyone help me find a protection or solution about this "booting" thing. thank you for your help

i'm not sure if you've tried this before... from scratch: 1. repartioning 2. reformatting 3. install all the devices. 4. install all the drivers, including the MOBO'S. but don't install anything yet ie application, just your basic system. NO APPLICATION. NO SPONGEBOB GAMES, NO TETRIS, NO DAVINCI CODES WHAT EVER. JUST YOUR PLAIN PC.. THEN OBSERVE.. IF NOTHING HAPPENS.. TRY TO DEFRAG... IF NOTHING HAPPENS.. INSTALL APPLICATION. OBSERVE AFTER EVERY INSTALLATION... IT MIGHT HELP.. GUD LUCK.. FORGET THE NEW PC FOR NOW

I have a computer shop. my problem is: "is there anyway i can restrict users from downloading programs without my permission?" it's realy a pain.... XP SP2 Firefox browser IE 6.0

Put windows xp, Most used programs/games, in the same partition on SATA drives. then your important downloads i.e. MP3s, utility Installers, saved files or documents etc. in a seperate partition on SATA. Why? If your windows and your most used programs is on the same partition accessing and communicating between windows and programs will be faster. Why put your important downloads i.e. MP3s, utility Installers, saved files or documents etc. in a different partition? If Windows crashes, fails or some sort of Alien invasion occurs, since your important documents is on a different partition reformatting your primary partition will not be a hard decision. i hope i was able to answer your question But don't rely on just 1 suggestion Search for more If you find a better alternative please share it here. thanx
