i have fixed it with the following means: + full install + made a link with the exe on the cd in the regist directory and with win98 compatible mode + most important thing: the standard file saving directory is C:\Programms\Resident Evil 2 (or so) moving it to C:\Resident Evil 2 fixed it at my pc... maybe re2 has problems to load and save games in sub-directories.. hope this helps

i have the problem that i can't load my games, even though i have changed the compatibility to win95 (win98 doesn't work either). sometimes there is also an error (not every time) with the message cannot execute the command "write or written" 0x.... in 0x...... also i cannot update my version, because it says that a file is missing, but i can't believe that because my game is bought, and no rip or downloaded....
