Hey there. I'm trying to get Hexen to play on xp. It loads fine no problems. I can get the sound to work, like the music, but I'm having difficulty getting the sound effects to work (In the part of the setup where you select the soundcard I clicked "run music from CD.") The sound effects is another story though since it's intertangled with the code, of course. I'm using VDMSound and I've right clicked everything "Run with VDMSound" trying to set up the emulated soundcard. Any help will be most appreciated. Thx.

I can run Tie Fighter under XP. No problems except for sound. So I used VDMSound and it detected my soundcard or the emulated one actually. After this I click on Tie.exe and click "Play with VDMSound" but then it tells me that it cannot detect the CD. Error#3 I believe, is what it called it. Also it tells me that if the CD is already in the CD-Rom then I need to check the Drivers to see if their loaded. I know I'm like one step away from playing the game, so any help would be most appreciated. Thx.
