Hi, my pc stops giving audio output in a while & resumes itself after somtime. I have xp and mandrake installed, & have the problem on both os. I am using on board sound (Original Intel D865GVHZ motherboard) I have installed the latest BIOS update. While using MPlayer in Linux pausing and playing again does the work. But not in any other player(also not in mplayer for WinXP). Can nebody suggest the cause n the soln? Please help! Thanx in advance. Nitin

I only have a RealTek LAN card as PCI card and tried removing it, but that also didn't work for me. I also have Linux installed and have same problem there also. While using MPlayer in Linux pausing and playing again does the work. But not in any other player(also not in mplayer for WinXP). Please help!!
