Thank you very much and as I thought I had deleted it and have done what you have said and downloaded Everest home edition (what a great download) I then found out where I had to go and I have downloaded the new criver and all is now working. Thank you Wilhelmus for your help. This is a great site to learn so much.

I think that I have deleted the windows PCI Multimedia audio device on my computer (windows ME)as I now have no sound and no icon at the bottom. I am a real novice at this so if anyone can help me get it back again I would be most grateful.
