If you really want to stop a process go into the services section, go start, control panel, performance and maintenance, administrative tools, services. For a listing of which you can turn off or disable or set to manual, go to Major Geeks hosting of Black Vipers work. http://majorgeeks.com/page.php?id=12

When I Googled 'scsimap.sys' it came up with a load of sites but the best one mentioned trying VueScan to make your scanner work with XP. Try it out and see if it works. It has a free trial. http://www.hamrick.com/vsm.html Good Luck

We need more info on the system, like which Operating System are you using, how much RAM do you have, things like that. Also are you getting anykind of error message and if so what is it? Have you tried running Direct X Diagnostics to check out your system. To bring that up just do a search on your computer for dxdiag.

Your welcome. Sorry no, I have no clue as to the best way. Unless a partition program might do it by reading the F drive. Take a look at Acronis. http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/ I am sure that someone on here would know what to do. Good Luck

Try this. Hope it helps. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/gho...ment&seg=hm Good Luck

Not sure if this will help or not but I did find this article. Just scan down the page a little for the article. http://www.bestpricecomputers.ltd.uk/freehelp/ntldr_missing.htm Good Luck

If you really want to keep that sub-par firewall, then make sure you have a great anti-virus program. Set up a folder that you download everything to, then turn off the firewall only when you download. Make sure everything you download goes to that folder and scan the folder before you run anything that you downloaded. Just remember to re-start your firewall after you finish downloading. If this seems like a real pain in the as*, it is but that is your best bet if you want to stick with XP's crappy firewall.

Yep, you should be good to go. You're welcome

No there isn't. You should have the license number from when you bought Norton. Just use that number again and you will be good to go.

Just curious Tool, why do you want to reformat the drive that already has XP on it?
-
Have you tried to Google the maker of your keyboard and seeing if they have a driver?
-
From my personal experience with Linksys, you are better off getting rid of that router and buying another brand.

I have never seen those clips before but could you contact the maker of that vid card you are showing and see if they sell the clips? Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
