So its friday night and i decided to update my drivers for my video card... I followed the directions on the ATI website and uninstalled the catalyst display divers through the add/remove programs option in the control panel. It then asked me to restart, so I did... and then... obviously i could see the first couple of screens... but after the windows xp load screen, my monitor said: no input. This makes sense because i uninstalled the driver for the video card... I know there is a way to fix this because i did the same thing this summer and ATI walked me though the whole thing, but their stupid customer service won't be up until tuesday. The thing is, i don't have any onboard video... i think there's something i do while loading... but its not in bios, that allows to load windows somehow and then install the new drivers... but i forget what it is... if anyone knows how to solve this problem, please please reply to this post or e-mail me at bobathia at yahoo dot com . thanks soo much.
