  1. Got myself a Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI mobo with Dual Gigabit LAN ports on it. One's controlled via the nForce4 chipset the other via a Marvell controller. If I use the nVidia port, files that are transfered via it get corrupted. If I use the Marvell port everythings fine. I want to use the nVidia one because of the ActiveArmour built-in firewall. Using the latest Bios & drivers & a fresh install of XP pro SP2 Any ideas ? PC specs: 480w Tagan 2Force SLI PSU GA-K8NXP-SLI Motherboard (latest bios & chipset drivers) Athlon64 Dual Core X2 4400+ nVidia 7800GTX GFX card (latest drivers) 2 x 512Mb Corsair XL RAM modules (tested Memtest86+) PX-716SA SATA DVD-RW drive 2 x Maxtor 300Gb 16Mb cache SATA HD's (RAID 0)

nVidia LAN port, corrupts my downloads

I've now discovered that this is a known issue, related to the nVidia chipset drivers. It affects anyone with a nForce4 chipset, lets hope nVidia sorts it quick.

Where'd the DVI signal go ??

The Sharp DT-300 accepts the following DVI resolutions, 1280 x 720 @ 60Hz 1024 x 768 @ 72,70,50 or 43Hz 800 x 600 @ 75,72,70,56 or 50Hz (plus some more lower res's) So in windows, your display setting should match one of the above. When the project detects a Resolution/Refresh combination that it doesn't like, it will just give you a blank screen. Hope this is of some help.
