Yesterday I installed quake 2 on my new Pc and I cannot hear the music. I don´t know how to activate it on windows xp. I know this is very sad...But Can anyone help me?

Hi! I have hidden & dangerous (the first one), but I cannot play it. There´s too little info about this game in the data base. Can anyone help me? When I run the game, it goes too slow. when I use a compatibility mode, the textures are corrupted, but the game speed is normal. My Pc is a PIV 3,2 Ghz, 1 GB RAM and a Nvidia Geforce FX 5700VE. Direct X and video card drivers are updated. Thanks!

Hi! I have the LOTR The Return of the King, but I cannot hear any sound in the cinematics. I hear the sound fx during the game, but no voice sound. Does anyone know how to solve it? I have seen some forums where people have the same problem, but I haven´t found any solution. Many people says that EA uses the Dxgm code to encode his gamés videos. Where can I find this codec? Or which file do I have to edit in the game folder?

I solved my problem with Doom 3 changing the Doomconfig file. Now I can hear it well. About Heavy Metal FAKK 2, I tried to install the latest patch but it didn´t recognize my game, and it´s an authentic game. I don´t know how to decompress the patch manually and what sort of program do I have to use to do this. Thanks

Hi. I don´t know what happens. I obtain Doom 3 last week, and I cannot play it. The game starts normally, but I can hear nothing. I can see the game, but the sound doesn´t work. Does anyone have the same problem with DOOm3? I´ve had problems with my sound card for three months: Echoes and slower sounds in some games. Perhaps this isn´t the place to ask for help, but I don´t know where to ask. Creative and Activision only tell me to install the latest patches and drivers, but I have already done it and nothing has changed. Yesterday I tried to run Doom 3 again, but the game didn´t run. Hi again. I sent a message about heavy gear 2 a week ago. I had a problem on windows xp, because I cannot see on my new PC the ingame menus and cannot shoot. Someone told me problem was normal because this game wasn´t designed for this OS. Ok, I still have my old pc, a PII 333mhz with windows 98 SE. This PC should run this game normally, but it isn´t. I can shoot, but the menus don´t work. I don´t know why; I remember I played this game with no problem four years ago. Does anyone know where can I find a patch? The game isn´t at Activision´s website. There´s must be someone with the same problem... I´m not able to hear the music too. IAS says my DVD rom isn´t compatible. Is there any way to solve it? I like this game a lot. It´s awful you cannot replay games. Thanks

No, there isn´t any pc version. EA only made a PS2 and XBox version. What about xbox? Can I emulate this version on pc? I have the first and the last LoTR's games and i'd like to play the second part

DosFreak, this is the error that appears when I try to run Heavy Metal FAKK 2 on Windows XP or W2000 Compability mode: "Failed, Code 1" (and that´s all) If I use the W98 or W95 compability mode, other message appears. I have the screenshot on .GIF format, but I don´t know how can I paste it here.

OK: Heavy Metal FAKK2: I install it well, but when I launch the game Windows tell me the game is not compatible (when the picture with Gith´s mask appears). I try to run it with the compatibility mode, but it doesn´t solve anything. I have downloaded the patch, but it says I don´t have the game installed. I usually install the spanish version, but I have tried it with the english and the same happens. The patch is the european version. How can I unzip the files it contains? Rune: The same problem. When I launch it a message tell me a code is incorrect and Windows also tells me the game is not compatible. I have the 1.07 version. A lot of people say it´s impossible to run this game under XP. This web tells the same in the database. Oni and shadowman: The same. Where can I get the latest Shadowman patch? Acclaim closed, wasn´t it? I have Windows XP SP2 Sorry If I don´t explain well, I´m Spanish and the error messages, that windows shows when it says the games aren´t compatible, are very strange for me: a lot of numbers. hi! HOW can I run Heavy Metal FAKK 2 on Windows XP SP2? Someone told me in a forum how to run it, but I cannot do that, because it´s really hard. It´s about to change a file from the patch installation in the temp file. Can anybody explain it better? What about Rune? Why take 2's old games are so unestable on XP? I have other games I cannot run on my PC: Oni (take 2 again!!)and Shadowman. Can I emulate Windows 98 with Virtual PC and run a game with this program. Many people have told me to make a partition on my hard disk, but I don´t how to do that. I have a Windows 98 CD, but I don´t know how to install it without a floppy disk. Thank you very much
