Don't let XP automaticly install it, and just install it with your install cd or the driver update from the company website.

I sometimes had the same problems with my old comp, windows 98, somtimes I boot up the comp and it dosen't detect it. All it was just a reboot and the problem was fixed. You shouldn't had deleted them before you rebooted, should of tried that first.

Well, that program dosen't work. Any others?

How do I uninstall DirectX 9.0c? I think I found the problem, dxdiag says system.dll file is missing, and yet theirs another one right below it.

Okay, but uninstalling the drivers did not help it. Anyother ways? Please and thanks!

I got a ati 9600 and a 9550 my games wont detect the memory and thus directX dosesn't work or Opengl I didn't know that untill I tried to play AOE3 TRIAL which told me I got 0mb of memory on my graphics card, and then sometimes my comp will just show the error blue screen and it happens at least once a day. My 9550 will acutally play BUT for only a few seconds and then it just crashes the comp or just the game. Their all updated and I still can't get them to work properly. My system/display properties show them they have 256mb and yet the game says they got 0mb, and yes I reinstalled them. So how do I fix it?
