Thank You so much Sampson and others.I am NOW TYPING from my keyboard once more.WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO! I really, really appreciate all your advice and removing my keyboard in safe mode did the trick.I can not THANK YOU enough for the advice. Thank You, Daren

i tried safe mode reboot and the keyboard still froze up my computer.this is really frustrating me

i have a dell 2350 and when we punch any key on the keyboard the mouse pointer freezes and the computer locks up. we have to reboot everytime this happens and have to use the on-screen keyboard { that comes with WIN XP Home Edition} to type everything.we have tried different keyboards, but no luck.cannot get into my Bio`s ,setup , or anything, seeing as keyboard locks up computer. PLEASE help
