  1. Hello all, I've got a strange problem. I just finished installing a fresh copy of Windows Server 2003 Ent. w/ SvcPak 1 on a machine. Then I let it go to the web and do all the MS updates. So, now I want to install MSS 2004 R2 on this machine. But, the installer tells me that my version of software/service pack is not supported. Ok, I've seen similar problems with Exhcange 2003, so, I backdoored and went direct to the .msi file. That gets me up to the pre-requisites screen that, lo and behold, tells me I need to stop and install "Windows Server 2003 Ent. w/ SvcPak 1". Isn't that a kicker. Anyone ever heard of anything like this ?
