I recently installed Sims 2 Nightlife and from the very beginning my game was crashing. It worked fine before I installed the new expansion pack, so it was very odd. I fixed that problem by manually uninstalling the game from the registry, and I reinstalled it. So now I am on a fresh install(except for my downloads, but nothing is new from before the problem started), but now instead of completely crashing, the screen goes black, I can hear sound and in the middle there ios a message that says:
Out of frequency
HF:18.7 khz
VF:23.0 hz
Operating Frequency
HF:30-96 khz
VF:50-160 hz
I tried setting the refresh rate in both the displays manager and direct x to 60hz, and I tried up[censored] my monitor driver(it wouldn't let me though..)
It only does this when I put objects into a lot, but it's no particular object; sometimes it's a bed, and sometime's it's a bath or a toilet.
Here are my specs:
