    Hi there, I have the same problem and same hardware (HP DL385/2x 2.4GHZ AMD Opteron/SmartArray6i). I get this error when trying to boot with Fedora Core(2.6.11-1.1369_FC4smp). 'Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!' However it works with uniprocessor Fedora Core-UP(2.6.11-1.1369_FC4). Which I'm not too happy about to run with. I've decided to try some other linux. Anyone got a solution for this problem?
