for some reason. the cd of turok2 does not playback the music tracks when you play the game on win xp. on older win os like win 95/98, it plays back the music tracks fine. Its not that I dont have digital audio play back enabled on my cd-rom drive, because it is enabled and all the other games that I have that play music tracks on the cd play back fine. Its just this game for some reason.. Could some one please help me with this problem. Oh and before you mention it, yes i have downloaded and installed the lateset effing version of this game. and yes, I have searched high and low for any known issues at the manufacture's website.

hey buddy. your in luck. Go to www.abandonia.com to download DOSBOX for win. I have full throttle and I used this emulator to run it. It works beautifully. the best way to run it is to copy the enitre contents of the cd of full throttle to a folder in the directory where you have DOSBOX and then run dos box (the website abandonia.com has a lttle tourital that gets you started with dosbox. READ IT!!) and run the IMUSE.exe file found in FULLTH~1/RESOURCE folder to choose your soundblaster compatible sound card. then run the FT.exe also found in the FULLTH~1/RESOURCE FOLDER to play the game.

hey I have the same problem man... we are in this together!!!!! My cd-rom in device manager is already digital aduio enabled. I checked, and I know it works because Turok 1 backround CD music works fine.. FOr some EFFING reason, its just Turok 2.
