i have sims 2 and i have that problem where u meet all the req's and i have turned off all firewalls etc. The installation went fine then i get the splash sims 2 screen then it stops and like 10 seconds later i get an error screen with the appcompat thing inside i know there are previous posts oon this but none of them seem to have any answer at all. PLEASE HELP

errrr.. someone plz help me i have holiday edition and i get the appcompat thing and send error report. i meet the requirements i think i have a nvidia geforce4 420 go 32m and ii have 797 ghz thats good i used to be able to run it fine then my comp crashed so i cleaned everyhitng off, ive tried reinstalling ext off the firewalls, everything any plz help me
