any ideas?

that always gives me an error about the gameport or gameportdriver being not configured correctly. but does the built-in driver support the sidewinder's shift-key? because that is what I relly need, so that i can program 16 buttons instead of just 8

well I just brought a new pc with windows xp and now I noticed that my old SideWinder Game Pad Pro (USB) isn't supported by Windows XP. (i had win98 before) And when I just plug it in, I can't use the SideWinder options like the shift-button because it then uses some weird generic drivers Is there any way to get the SideWinder Game Pad Pro drivers and software to work with Windows XP ??? Please, there must be a way, hacks, mods, updates or whatever. I just don't want to buy me a new controller just because I updated to crappy XP. ANY help is really really appreciated.
