Hi i have been running red alert 2 online on my computer with windows xp for a while but recently everytime i played a game it crashes with a error box saying setup.exe has an error so i reinstalled it but it says the same error and in the technical report it says that this file ac4a_appcompat.txt was included in the error in the temp folder. I have already tried restarting the computer in safe mode which someone else told me to do but it didnt work so plz help i have been trying for ages

yes i have but cheers anyway i have spent all night on it and got it working using windows safe mode to install it thanx for your help anyway

come on it has been ages please someone can help me

oh and i also thought i would say that i have been playing a demo the other day and the same error happened for that and said the same thing about that file in the temp folder but i aint no computer god so plz help
