I have a laptop with WindowsXP service pack 2 but I have some program that will not work in windows XP so I need to install windows 2000 but I been having problems doing that. can anyone help me how to remove windows Xp and then re-install windows 2000 thank you

Hi , after I insert the boot disk I get the screen to select either a WinNT or WinNT-VGA mode or MS-DOS when I select any of these option I will get an error message that says non-system disk or disk error thanks [Edited by jtupac on 2006-03-16 01:16:47]

Hi I'm having a problem with my computer, I hope someone could help me. I have a WIN NT OS and after turning on the computer i'm getting a message Operating system not found. I did some research and I troubleshoot but I can not get to C:\ prompt. BIOS recognize the hard drive but Windows doesn't my question is How can I fix the Master Boot Record? Thanks for looking
