Every time I put the Sims 2 DVD/CD into my DVD-Rom it starts up fine until I go to get into a neighbor hood, then it just freezes up... I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't work... when I first installed the game it worked fine, created my own neighborhood and sims, then less then 24 hours later it keeps freezing up on me when I try to get into a neighborhood.
I have installed the patch, but nothing works.
The game is borrowed from a friend of mine so it is not registered could this be the problem?

Sad thing is it works on my Lap Top and that doesn't have the right Processor let alone graphics card in it.
