Well due to the lack of replies to this thread i have come to the conclusion that the XP does not support the Epsom scanner Therefore the only solution is go out an buy a new one, shame really as it's a decent scanner.

Hi The hard disk of my W2000 PC was recently replaced and now my PC is a XP. I have a Epson GT7000 SCSI scanner and I have downloaded the driver in the mail above but I'm getting the following error message "The file 'scsimap.sys' on (unkown) is needed Type the path where the file is located and then click OK" I believe I have pointed it at the correct file, (the one above)but get the same error.
